Intern trustee opportunity

An opportunity for a young person to become an intern trustee

We're looking for our first Intern Trustees! 

Are you aged 16–25 and passionate about conservation, sustainability, and making a difference in your community? This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on governance experience while helping shape the future of Aroha Kaikorai Valley Trust (AKV). 

As an Intern Trustee, you'll: 
🌿 Learn how a community trust is governed 
🌿 Contribute to strategic discussions and decision-making 
🌿 Bring a youth perspective to the Board table 
🌿 Support AKV's kaupapa of restoring and protecting the Kaikorai Valley environment 
🌿 Develop valuable leadership and governance skills alongside experienced trustees 

This is a voluntary, non-voting role designed for young people who want to develop their governance capability while making a meaningful contribution to their community.
