Keep Dunedin Beautiful cleanup week

Join us on Keep Dunedin Beautiful cleanup week as we help to make a part of Kaikorai stream catchment more beautiful. We'll be picking up rubbish from the Brockville Park Recreation Reserve. 

Please park on Grigor St and meet outside the Disc Golf clubrooms. We'll have an introduction and briefing before picking up rubbish. You'll be provided with a hi-viz vest, rubbish sacks, and some camaraderie for the morning. Wear sensible outdoor gear, and good footwear like tramping boots. We’ll supply gloves but you may wish to bring your own gardening gloves.

After our hard work, we’ll meet back at Aroha Kaikorai Valley, 381 Kaikorai Valley Road for a refreshing morning tea.

Here’s the timeline for the event:

10am - Briefing and strategy.
10.10am - Start cleanup.
11.15am - Bring rubbish back to drop zone. Debrief, and return to AKV, 381 Kaikorai Valley Road for morning tea.
12pm - Event end, but you'll be welcome to stay and chat for longer.
