🌱Community Clean-up at Tilburn reserve and Frasers Gully

Aroha Kaikorai Valley (AKV) volunteers gathered at Ashmore Street to take on rubbish collection in Tilburn Reserve and the top of Frasers Gully. With the sun shining, a fantastic mix of residents, students, AKV members and friends rolled up their sleeves to look after our local green spaces.

From the bush edges and gullies came a surprising haul – including tyres, children’s toys, household waste, and the usual windblown rubbish. Nothing was too much for the crew!

After the mahi, everyone headed back to AKV HQ for a well-earned cuppa, snacks, and a good chat. It was a fun and rewarding day – proving once again that this is how community rolls.
