A Meeting of Minds

On Friday Simon McMillan and Paul Southworth (AKV) had the opportunity to meet with Otago Catchment Community representative, Sam Dixon, ORC Councillor Tim Mepham, and the Green Party Representative Alan Somerville. ORC councilor Bryan Scott was also present (behind camera).

It was an inspiring meeting at Kaikorai Valley College with a trip over to the Kaikorai College Urban Farm.

Simon and Paul had the chance to host and shared their vision of working with local communities, schools, and businesses to enhance the Kaikorai Stream and its ecosystems.

It’s a long term project to protect and enhance the stream. Watch this space.
