Green Spaces in Kaikorai Valley

Nairn Street Sportsground & Playground
Nairn Street Sportsground & Playground

Nairn St Playground

A great wee place to bring the family, have a picnic and kick a ball around. Little ones can play on the swings and other play equipment, and this playground is wheelchair and pushchair accessible. Right by the bus-stop, it's handy for public transport too.

Ellis Park

Located on Frasers road, Ellis park is a large sports field. The top of the park runs into the Frasers Gully with a great walk up to Brockville and Dalziel Road.

Frasers Gully Loop Walk

From the car park at the end of Frasers Road, walk through native forest and along Kaikorai Stream up to Dalziel Road. Turn left at Dalziel Road and left again at the sign to the new downhill section of the loop. Follow the track back to the stream where a temporary crossing is provided. This is a great track for families and dogs allowed off lead. 2 hrs, 7km (return).
